I understand that the ILP has ceased trading as of 10th July 2009. Basically because most of its clients were developers in Bulgaria or Spain etc and have all gone bust and not paying legal bills. More can be read at http://www.thetravelbug.org/blog/. What I wonder is to become of the action groups now and the poor people who throw more good money after bad to try and get justice from BD?

Hi Team,
               Thank goodness I made the judgment call not to shell out further against my losses at Windows to Paradise to ILP.  If these lawyers had acted on a percentage basis they may have had more motivation to deal with our problems and may well not have gone bust.  What is the status of Windows to Paradise now that RJ has come back on the scene?

What's happening generally with the BD losses?  I'd be happy to get any further news.

Hence my reasoning behind giving cautionary advice about this company.

Alarm bells rang for me when I highlighted the link between the IPL and the AIPP (Ie Mr Howard being a board member of both)

I warned about this company on this forum months ago and was asked to remove my posts. Their website is still active and I note on the UK Companies House that they have not officially ceased trading. Can someone verify this please?

I think it was more of a 'be careful what you say and where you say it' rather than asking you to remove the post. I'm always cautious about publically slating companies and in particular lawyers!
Seems you were spot on with your warnings though!

Indeed -- we don't want companies coming at us for slander.  Especially a law firm.
